Group Leader with Vocational Training Responsibility

For our 6-group daycare, we are looking for a dedicated, warm, and motivated group leader with at least 3 years of leadership experience who enjoys not only leading their group but also taking responsibility for vocational training in our daycare.

Your tasks

As a group leader

• You lead your children's group with expertise, heart, and commitment.

• You create a varied, child-friendly daily routine and promote the individual development of the children.

• You take on the educational responsibility for your group and ensure a high quality of care.

• You lead, accompany, and support your team in the daycare's daily routine.

• You maintain open, appreciative collaboration with parents, staff, and daycare management.

As vocational training supervisor

• You take on the overall responsibility for the vocational training of our apprentices and interns.

• You coordinate and support the training in our six groups.

• You support the vocational trainers in their tasks and assist them with professional questions.

• You plan and coordinate training discussions, competency assessments, and further training steps.

• You ensure high-quality, structured, and practice-oriented training.

• You promote the professional and personal development of our future Childcare Specialists (FaBe K).

You bring

• A completed education as Childcare Specialist (FaBe) EFZ or an equivalent recognized qualification.

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a group leader in a daycare.

• Ideally, further training as a vocational trainer or the willingness to complete it.

• Enjoyment in taking on responsibility, passing on knowledge, and supporting people in their development.

• Organizational talent, initiative, and a structured way of working.

• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and an appreciative leadership style.

• Enthusiasm for educational work with children and for promoting young talent in the profession.
